The Chamber Executive of the Year Award is presented to an individual who has exhibited characteristics that make him or her a leader both in their Chamber of Commerce and community. The award is based on the demonstration of excellence in outstanding accomplishments, effectiveness in addressing challenges, professionalism, program development and implementation, fiscal management, and stature in the community. The VACCE Chamber of the Year Award recognizes a Chamber of Commerce in Virginia that has demonstrated outstanding leadership, innovation, and measurable impact in serving its members and advancing the economic vitality of its region at some point during the past 18 months.
VACCE is pleased to provide scholarships each year for professional development for VACCE events, the U.S. Chamber’s Institute of Organization Management, and ACCE’s annual convention. All VACCE members in good standing, regardless of staff position, are encouraged to apply.
